GAP
SOLUTION
No central location for information and/or resources, assistance, assessment, or to complete assessments
We distribute resource information, complete intakes and assessments and assist in forms and paperwork for people who are homeless or facing homelessness.
GAP
SOLUTION
Many people become homeless because they do not have the necessary skills to be
self-sustaining.
Provide life skill classes (budgeting, meal planning, completing job applications, etc.), Bible studies, etc.
Gaps We Fill In
Community Service
GAP
SOLUTION
Jacksonville does not have a homeless prevention program, and people do not know where to turn for help.
We provide resources to help pay back-rent and utilities. Clients can attend classes to earn vouchers to get use for debt.
GAP
SOLUTION
Our area is lacking transitional housing programs for men working through addiction recovery and coming home from prison.
We have established a home to house men coming out of recovery programs and prison. We're praying to be able to establish more available housing in our community.
