PROGRAMS (specific details)
Your financial donations, in-kind donations to our store and programs, and your purchases at our Thrift Store support our Homeless Outreach Programs!
Resource
Program
Our Resource Program distributes community resources and information, assists with obtaining essential items, and completes assessments to help those who are homeless get the support services they need to get out of homelessness.
We teach participants budgeting skills, life skills, and spiritual strengthening to increase their opportunity to be self-sustaining.
We do not provide financial "quick-fixes", instead, we provide the opportunity for clients to partner with a coach to face and navigate through their obstacles.
We assist them in getting clothes and shoes. We provide access to computers, internet, email, and other necessary technology to apply for employment and housing. We order birth certificates, IDs, and social security cards, and we allow them to use our address to receive ordered identification and other mail.
We aim to be a HAND UP, not a handout!
Our Educate Program is tailored to educate, equip, and encourage individuals to prevent and end homelessness in our community.
This program assists people in need by providing them the opportunity to learn financial, spiritual, and life skills in classes, Bible studies, and individual guidance provided by coaches.

Clients who participate in classes Monday - Thursday can then participate in our Friday BINGO. Clients can win transit cards, fuel cards, fast food restaurant cards, snack bags, purses, wallets, backpacks, hygiene items, reading or activity books and much more.

Outreach
Program
Our Outreach Program helps those who are homeless with immediate needs. We provide homeless outreach bags that contain hygiene items (deodorant, toothpaste, toothbrushes, body wipes, lotion, soap, hand sanitizer, etc.) and food (meal and snack bars, pop-top spaghettios, sandwich crackers, nuts, fruit, water, and more). We also provide blankets, sleeping bags, tents, tarps, bikes, bike locks, and more.
“If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal. And if I have prophetic powers, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. If I give away all I have, and if I deliver up my body to be burned, but have not love, I gain nothing.”
â€â€1 Corinthians‬ â€13:1-3‬ â€ESV‬
Through these efforts we aim to make direct contact with individuals battling homelessness currently. We go out with resourceful information and material to help them with their immediate physical needs.
Our Transitional Housing Program was created to address a gap in services in our community. Our Men's Transitional House "catches" those coming out of prison or rehab who have no place to go and no funds to provide for themselves. We provide the additional guidance and support they need to become successfully independent.

Our Transitional Housing Program is very structured and overseen by a Peer Support Specialist/House Manager that guides and assists clients to navigate through their barriers and needs.
